Roxid tablets are used to treat upper respiratory tract infections such as sore throat, tonsillitis and sinusitis, lower respiratory tract infections including bronchitis and pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections such as boils, abscesses and wound infections.
Roxid can also be used to treat some types of sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia. In some specific cases, the drug may be prescribed to treat middle ear infections.
